About this service

Most website copy is written by someone inside the business, which means it is written from inside the business. It talks about features, mentions awards nobody asked about, and buries what the reader actually came to find. Readers do not read websites. They scan. They look for one thing: evidence that this is the right place for their problem.

We write website copy from the outside in. Before writing a word, we research how your audience describes their problems (not how you describe your services), what your competitors are saying (and what they are leaving out), and what the conversion goal is for each page. Homepage copy has a different job from a services page. A product description has a different job from an FAQ. We write each page for its specific objective.

The scope of a website copy project typically includes: homepage, about, 2-4 service or product pages, and supporting pages such as FAQ and contact. Each page is delivered with an inline note explaining key decisions: why a headline was written this way, why a particular structure was chosen, what to do if you want to extend the copy. We do not disappear after the final file.

We write in English and Italian. For bilingual projects, the two versions are written natively, not translated from each other. Italian readers and English readers have different expectations about content density, formality, and what constitutes credibility. We account for that.

Share any existing copy, competitor URLs, and examples of writing you like. Even if the existing copy is weak, it tells us a lot about what to avoid.
